Brenda H Jordan

Brenda H. Jordan, age 67, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2020, at her home in Helena, AL. She was born July 9, 1953, in San Antonio, TX, to James and Lenora (Sweetland) Hurlbert. She was a graduate of Choctawhatchee High School and University of Texas at Tyler.  She married James Jordan on March 16, 1974, in Fort Walton Beach. She worked as a portrait photographer and was gifted at capturing family memories.

Brenda enjoyed days at the beach with her many nieces and nephews, whom she loved. She ministered to the sick and suffering and frequently visited nursing homes to share a smile. Brenda was an accomplished ballroom dancer and a world traveler. She made her final journey when she entered the presence of the Lord she loved and served joyfully.

She is survived by her husband, James; parents, James and Lenora; sisters, Karen Napier (Ronnie) and Lisa Simmons (Wayne); sons, Dale and Douglas, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
