Edward S. Tucholski, age 86, of Niceville, FL, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019.  He was born December 25, 1932 in Terryville, Connecticut to the late Stanley Tucholski and Bernice Kucharski Tucholski.  Edward retired from the United States Air Force with 27 years and 6 months service. His overseas tours included Viet Nam, Alaska, Greenland, and Argentina.  After retirement he worked Civil Service as a quality control inspector. He enjoyed gardening, and in his later years, he raised pepper plants and beans on the patio. He was preceded in death by his daughter Marianne Bowers. He was preceded in death by his daughter Marianne Bowers.  He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty Tucholski; daughter Janice Balentine; son Steven Tucholski (Sandy); brother Henry Tucholski; niece Karen Sandberg; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 -8:00 pm, Wednesday September 25, 2019 at McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home and Crematory.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Holy name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1200 Valparaiso Blvd, Niceville, FL 32578. Interment will be 2:00 pm Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. Expression of loved and sympathy may be placed and viewed at www.mclaughlintwincities.com.
