James "Jim" L. Reynolds

James "Jim" L. Reynolds age 82 of Niceville, Fl., passed away, Saturday, October 22, 2022, at home in Niceville.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Old Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 6420 Blue Star Memorial Hwy Chattahoochee, Florida with Pastor Evelyn Maxwell officiating.

James was born, on September 2, 1940 to Jerome T. “JT” and Myra Reynolds in Chipley Fl. He graduated from Chattahoochee High School in 1959 where he was an outstanding athlete.  He married Patricia “Pat” Terhell in 1960.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years as an F-106 crew chief at Kincheloe AFB in Sault Ste Marie Michigan.  James worked for Niagara Wires, later Niagara Lockport in Quincy, Fl. for 31 years where he advanced his career from mechanic to regional sales manager.   James loved his children and grandchildren, especially enjoying the time spent with them while fishing and hunting.  Fishing was his favorite pastime, and he spent many memorable days on the Apalachicola River, Lake Seminole, and Lake Talquin.   He especially treasured the time he spent fishing and hunting with his Daddy JT.  James was an avid sports fan and loved the Florida State Seminoles.   

James was preceded in death by his father JT, mother Myra, and son Kevin.

James is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia "Pat" Terhell Reynolds of Niceville, Fl. Son Steve of Niceville, FL, sister Melanie Horne (Jerry) of Dothan Al, sister Lana Johnson of Tallahassee, Fl. Grandson Nicholas Reynolds of Quincy Fl., and Granddaughter Heather Barnes of Madison Tn.
