She will be remembered for her gorgeous smile, her incredible heavenly voice, her exceptional vocabulary, her love and caring for children of all ages including human, canine, feline and other varieties, her tasmanian devil like energy, her humble service to all, her "dizzy" attention deficits, her mischievious nature and free spirit, and for the richness she added to the lives of all she met.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bradford Phillips, her youngest daughter, Allison Sue Phillips, and her parents.
She is survived by her brother, Frederick William (Kay) Gibb, and her children Delana Jean (Ermino) Phillips (Mazzarino), Jessica Marie Phillips, Frederick Bradford “Rick” (Margie) Phillips, Scott Noel (Jacqueline) Phillips, Jennifer Ruth (Jerry) Timmerman and Troy Gardner (Susan) Phillips. Great Grand children Jay Albrechta, Rebeckah Cooper, Katelyn, Angelina and Tristan Phillips, Mara Phillips, Daniel, David, James, Melody, Benjamin and Joy Hampshire, Abigail, Hannah, Rebekah and Sarah Parker, James and Marian Timmerman, Cecilia Timmerman, and Amanda Ragan. Great-Great Grandchild Jackson Ragan. Nieces Mary Delana Gibb MgGinn, Catherine Gibb Baily, Jayne Van Tol and Katherine Johnson Bryan. A funeral service and celebration of her life will be conducted on Sunday, July 28, at 11:00am at McLaughlin Twin Cities Mortuary in Niceville. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00am. Internment will take place at Sunset Cemetery in Valparaiso following the service. Her favorite colors were pink and purple and she would want you to wear your favorite colors if you prefer.
Flowers will be received by the family, but donations to Magnolia Manor, Comfort Keepers, Emerald Coast Hospice, Destin Healthcare and Rehab or towards Dementia research are also welcomed.
