August 4, 1963 ~ October 10, 2018 (age 55) 55 Years Old

Tribute

Kenneth William Snyder lost his battle with Huntington's Disease on 10-10-2018 @ 12:23pm in Pensacola, FL.  Huntington's Disease is a degenerative neurological disease, and terminal.  There is NO CURE.

Ken went to Saratoga Springs High School he graduated in 1982 and joined the US Air Force.  In 1983 he married his best friend Colleen and she birthed their son, Joshua, in 1986 and their daughter, Nicole, in 1994.  They enjoyed 30 years together and still remained friends until his last day.

In 2012 Ken was forced into early retirement due to his diagnosis of Huntington's.  He moved to Florida to live with his son Josh, and later his daughter Nicole and husband, Thomas joined them in November 2015.

Ken was a lover of all things sports related.  He loved to watch his son play softball, and both of his kids bowl. He could recite any sport fact to you at the drop of a hat and he adored the Dallas Cowboys & NY Yankees.

There is not a soul that met Ken that did not instantly feel connected to him.  He touched all of our lives. He was always smiling, always excited and giving everyone a thumbs up.  He was incredibly proud of both of his children and his precious grandson.

It is with great sadness that he is physically no longer here with us but he will forever live on in memory in our hearts.  We take comfort in knowing that he is now pain free and living his best life with our Lord in heaven.  Watching over all of us.

Predeceased by his father Myles Snyder, his mother Marilyn Snyder & his uncle David Johnson.

He is survived by his son, Joshua Snyder (Taylor), his grandson Easton Snyder, his daughter Nicole Brundige (Thomas); his brother Kevin (Pat), their children Christopher (Crystal & family) Alyssa, Katie and Jennifer (& family), Laurie Flinton, his brother Keith (Valerie), their children Keith Jr & Brandon, his aunts Gail Walker & Maryland Johnson. Along with several nieces & nephews, grandchildren, long time friends & acquaintances.

We have a GoFundMe set up in his name for any donations to be made. Thank you.
