MSgt Ignacio Manuel "Z" Zermeno

MSgt(Ret.) Ignacio Manuel “Z” Zermeno passed away peacefully at home in Valparaiso, Florida on March 14, 2020 at age of 82.  “Z” was born in El Paso, Texas on February 7, 1938, and proudly served his country as a proud member of the United States Air Force. “Z” was an active Fourth Degree member of Knights of Columbus, Assembly 3236. “Z” is predeceased by his eldest son, Francisco Angel Zermeno.  “Z” married his loving wife Patricia (Buckley) Zermeno on June 16, 1962 in Amarillo,TX, and is survived by her.  He is lovingly remembered by his son Lawrence J. Zermeno and wife Wendy of Groveland, Florida; daughter Tina-Marie Zermeno of Valparaiso; his eldest son’s wife Ayfer Zermeno of Bahrain; his grandsons Alexander M Zermeno of Brooklyn, New York and Nicholas S. Zermeno of Tempe, Arizona; his sister Teresa Frawley of Buckeye, Arizona; his brother Fr. Jose Zermeno; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Church at 1028 White Point Road, Niceville, Florida at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 19, 2020.
