Ronald "Ron" Morgan, Jr.

Ronald “Ron” D. Morgan, Jr., age 74, of Valparaiso, Florida passed away on July 24, 2021.  He was born in 1947 to Ronald D. Morgan and Minnie Haygood Morgan.  Ron proudly served in the US National Guard and in the US Navy, working on the flight deck of the USS Lexington aircraft carrier.  He worked for Duncan Amusement Co. for 37 years.  He was very proud to be a member of the AmVets Valparaiso, Okaloosa Masonic Lodge #312, Hadji Bandits, and the York & Scottish Rites.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sandra Ann; and his sons Ron Morgan and Dan Morgan, both of Valparaiso; grandson, Jacob Morgan; dogs, Lucy and Daisy.  He is also survived by his dad, Bob Anderson of Colorado; sisters, Cheryl Arbuckle of Texas and Janet Jennings of Colorado; brother, Ray Morgan, Texas; nephew, Joey Prumatico; niece, Katie Croy; sister-in-law, Debbie Prumatico; and best friend, Joe Prumatico.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center ICU nurses Amanda and Rafi; and nurse Amanda on the third floor.

As per Ron’s request, there will be no public services.
