Susan Rowley

Susan G. Rowley, age 57, of Valparaiso, Florida passed away on September 14, 2021.  Susan was born in 1964 at Eglin Air Force Base, to Lester T. & Patricia A. Rowley.  She was a life-long resident of Valparaiso, Florida and a graduate of Niceville High School.  After graduation, she went on to earn her Associate of Arts degree from Okaloosa Walton Community College in Theatre Arts.  By traveling from a young age, she had a desire to learn her entire life.  She worked many jobs in the service industry.  In her later years, she discovered her passion for supporting troops and veterans through her volunteer work and the AmVets. 

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Lester T. & Patricia A. Rowley, of Valparaiso; brother, Steven P. Rowley, Noel L. Rowley, of Slidell, Louisiana; and sister, Linda J. Boone, of Niceville, Florida.

She is survived by Bruce A. Rowley of Fort Walton Beach; sister-in-law, Petrice Rowley, of Slidell, Louisiana; four nephews; two nieces; three great-nephews; and 5 great-nieces.

The family will honor Susan’s memory at a memorial service to be scheduled for a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Susan’s name to the Rowley Scholarship at Northwest Florida State College.
